Dzmitryj Sjarhejewitsch Nabokau ( Belarusian Дзмітрый Сяргеевіч Набокаў , international according to the English transcription Dzmitry Nabokau ; born  January 20, 1996 in Byalynitschy , Belarus ) is a Belarusian high jumper .

Career

Dzmitryj Nabokau has so far not only achieved two national championship titles - 2016 and 2018 - but also two international successes.

In 2014 he jumped at the Junior World Championships in Eugene, Oregon , USA , 2.24 m behind the Russian Michail Akimenko to silver. 2017 eventually followed Nabokaus so far, probably greatest triumph: In the Polish Bydgoszcz he placed at the U23 European Championships in the first attempt, also with 2.24 m in front of Christian Falocchi from Italy and Viktor Lonskyj from Ukraine on the Gold Rank - both also jumped 2.24 m, but only managed to do this on the second attempt.

In 2019 Dzmitryj Nabokau was suspended until further notice because of the use of the substance furosemide, which is classified as a doping agent .
