Wiktor Ihorowytsch Lonskyj ( Ukrainian Віктор Ігорович Лонський , internationally after the English transcription Viktor Lonskiy or Lonskyy ; born October 27, 1995 ) is a Ukrainian high jumper .
Career
Viktor Lonskyj has so far achieved both national and international success.
Lonskyj was able to jump to first place at the 2017 Ukrainian championships in Kropywnyzkyj with a height of 2.28 m. Only a few days later he placed on the podium at the U23 European Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland , when he won the bronze medal with 2.24 m behind gold medalist Dsmitryj Nabokau from Belarus and the Italian Christian Falocchi .
