Maroussia Paré (born July 18, 1996 in Bordeaux ) is a French sprinter .

Athletic career

In 2014, Maroussia Paré qualified for the Junior World Championships in Eugene and was eliminated in the preliminary round with both the 4 x 100 meter relay and the 4 x 400 meter relay. At the 2015 European Junior Championships in Eskilstuna , Sweden , she won the bronze medal with the French relay in 45.35 s and also in the 200-meter run in 23.05 s . This secured her a starting place in the relay for the World Championships in Beijing , where she did not reach the final with 43.58 s . In 2016 she won the gold medal at the U23 Mediterranean Games in Radès over 200 meters and with the French relay. In 2017 she qualified for the U23 European Championships in Bydgoszcz , where she finished seventh over 200 meters. With the French relay she was able to win the silver medal and only had to admit defeat to the Spanish relay.

In 2018 she won the bronze medal at the U23 Mediterranean Games in Jesolo in 24.01 s and won again in 44.39 s with the 4 x 100 meter relay .

In 2017 Paré became French indoor champion in the 200-meter run.
