Diana Zagainova (born June 20, 1997 in Vilnius ) is a Lithuanian triple jumper .
Life
Zagainova tried her hand at gymnastics from the age of 4, and at the age of 9 she started athletics . She came especially to the triple jump at the age of 16. She visited the Vilnius City Sports Center . Since 2016 she has been studying at the Philosophy Faculty of Vilnius University .

Athletic career
Diana Zagainova gained her first international experience at the European Youth Olympic Festival 2013 in Utrecht , where she was eliminated with 5.26 m in the long jump qualification , as well as at the 2015 European Junior Championships in Eskilstuna with 12.06 m in the triple jump. In 2016 she took part in the U20 World Championships in Bydgoszcz , but could not qualify for the final there with 12.41 m. The following year she was seventh at the U23 European Championships there with 13.44 m and was eliminated from the qualification at the Summer Universiade in Taipei with 12.56 m. In 2019 she took part in the European Indoor Championships in Glasgow , where she was eliminated from the qualification with 13.36 m. Then she won the U23 European Championships in Gävle with a jump of 13.89 m and also qualified for the World Championships in Doha , where she did not reach the final with 13.64 m .
In 2017 Zagainova became Lithuanian champion in the outdoor triple jump and in 2016, 2017 and 2019 in the hall.
