For the first time at an international championship, Paula Sevilla competed at the 2015 European Junior Championships in Eskilstuna , where she was eliminated in the first round of the 200-meter run with 25.61 s. The following year she took part in the Spanish 4 x 100 meter relay at the U20 World Championships in Bydgoszcz , where she finished sixth in 44.99 seconds, before she took 43.96 at the 2017 U23 European Championships there s won the gold medal with the relay and was eliminated in the 100-meter run with 11.99 s in the first round. The following year she won the U23 Mediterranean Championships in Jesolo in 11.41 s over 100 meters and won the bronze medal in 45.28 s with the relay. She then reached fifth place over 200 meters at the Mediterranean Games in Tarragona in 23.34 s and won the silver medal behind the team from France in 43.31 s with the relay. Over 200 meters she also qualified for the first time for the European Championships in Berlin , where she was eliminated in the preliminary round with 23.91 s, while she landed eighth in the relay with 43.54 s in the final. In 2019 she won the U23 Mediterranean Indoor Championships in Miramas in 7.43 s in the 60-meter run and then retired from the European Indoor Championships in Glasgow with 7.44 s in the first round. In July, she finished fourth at the U23 European Championships in Gävle in 23.52 s and came in sixth with the relay in 44.56 s.
In 2019, Sevilla became Spanish champion in the 100-meter run and in 2018 in the 4-by-100-meter relay. In 2017, she became champion over 200 meters in the hall.
