Kajetan Duszyński (born May 12, 1995 in Siemianowice Śląskie ) is a Polish sprinter who specializes in the 400-meter run .

Athletic career

Kajetan Duszyński gained his first international experience in 2014 when he retired at the Junior World Championships in Eugene with the Polish 4 x 400 meter relay with 3: 10.94 minutes in advance. The following year he retired from the U23 European Championships in Tallinn with 46.89 s over 400 meters in the first round and won the silver medal behind the French team in 3: 05.35 min. Two years later he finished seventh in the U23 European Championships in Bydgoszcz in 46.80 seconds and again won the silver medal in 3: 04.22 minutes. He then took part with the relay at the World Championships in London and finished seventh in the final in 3: 01.59 min . Shortly thereafter, he was fourth in the Taipei Summer Universiade in 46.50 s. In 2018 he took part with the relay at the European Championships in Berlin , where he finished fifth in 3: 02.27 minutes. At the IAAF World Relays 2019 in Yokohama , he finished seventh in the B-final with the 4-by-400-meter relay in 3: 05.91 min and won the mixed relay in 3: 15.46 min. He then won the bronze medal at the Student World Games in Naples in 3: 03.35 min with the relay behind the teams from Mexico and South Africa.

In 2020 Duszyński became Polish indoor champion in the 400-meter run. He is a student at the Technical University in Łódź
