Can Özüpek (born February 2, 1996 ) is a Turkish triple jumper .

Athletic career

Can Özüpek gained his first international experience at the U23 European Championships 2017 in Bydgoszcz , where he took fifth place with a width of 16.10 m. In the following year he won the bronze medal at the U23 Mediterranean Championships in Jesolo with 16.39 m behind the Frenchman Quentin Mouyabi and Simone Forte from Italy. In addition, he qualified for the first time for the European Championships in Berlin , where he immediately reached the final and finished twelfth there with 15.88 m. In 2019 he was eliminated from the qualification at the European Indoor Championships in Glasgow with 16.28 m and then finished fourth at the Summer Universiade in Naples with 16.56 m.

In 2018 and 2019 Özüpek was the Turkish master in the triple jump outdoors and in 2017 and 2019 in the hall.
