Déborah Sananes (born October 26, 1995 in Treichville , Ivory Coast ) is a French sprinter from Ivory Coast.

Career

In her first international appearance in 2013, the Junior European Championships in Rieti , she won the silver medal in the 4 x 100 meter relay in 44.00 s and took seventh place in the long sprint relay. In 2014 she became French indoor champion, but did not take part in any major event during the outdoor season. In 2015 she was part of the 200-meter relay at the IAAF World Relays 2015 , in which the French relay could not finish their final run. In addition, she won the silver medal at the European Team Championships in Cheboksary and reached the final of the U23 European Championships in Tallinn with the relay , but were disqualified because of a substitutional error.

In 2017 she qualified over 400 meters for the European Indoor Championships in Belgrade and reached the semi-finals. With the 4 x 400 meter relay she finished fifth in the final. At the IAAF World Relays 2017 , the same season secured itself a fixed place for the World Championships in London with an eighth place in the final . At the U23 European Championships in Bydgoszcz , Poland , she took eighth place in the 400 meter final and seventh place with the French relay. In 2018 she finished fourth in 52.26s at the Mediterranean Games in Tarragona . Then she won the silver medal behind the Polish team at the European Championships in Berlin in 3: 27.17 minutes.

In 2014, Sananes became French indoor champion in the 200-meter run and in 2018 over 400 meters.
