Helena Jiranová (born March 5, 1995 ) is a Czech athlete who competes in various disciplines.

Athletic career

Helena Jiranová gained her first international experience in 2011 at the European Youth Olympic Festival in Trabzon , where she was eliminated in the 400-meter run with 58.41 seconds in the first round. At the Junior European Championships in 2013 in Rieti , Italy , she took part in the Czech 4 x 400 meter relay, where she finished eighth in 3: 43.36 minutes. The following year she reached the semifinals at the Junior World Championships in Eugene over 400 meters, in which she was eliminated with 55.06 s. In addition, she was disqualified with the relay in the run-up. In 2015 she took part in the European Indoor Championships in Prague , where she was eliminated in the first round over 400 meters with 55.33 s and fourth in the relay in 3: 32.08 min. At the U23 European Championships in 2017 in Bydgoszcz , she was eliminated with 54.20 s in the lead over 400 meters and was seventh in the 100-meter hurdles in 13.47 s. In addition, she was disqualified with the 4 x 100 meter relay in the preliminary round and reached eighth place in the 4 x 400 meter relay in 3: 38.13 minutes.

In 2019 she was twelfth in the hurdles sprint in 13.55 s at the European Games in Minsk and then she was eliminated at the Summer Universiade in Naples with 13.83 s in the lead. In addition, she finished seventh in the Czech 4 x 100 meter relay in 45.83 s.

In 2014 Jiranová became Czech champion in the 400-meter run and in 2019 in the 4-by-100-meter relay. In the hall she won the 400 meter title in 2014 and the 60 meter hurdles race in 2019.
