Cynthia Leduc (born February 16, 1997 in Créteil ) is a French sprinter who specializes in the 100-meter run .

Athletic career

Internationally, Cynthia Leduc took part in the European Youth Olympic Festival in Utrecht in 2013 , where she finished fifth in the 100-meter run in 12.24 s and finished with the French 4-by-100-meter relay in 47.22 s fourth place. The following year she took part in the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing , where she finished fifth in the B final in 12.15 s. In 2015 she took part with the relay at the Junior European Championships in Eskilstuna and won the bronze medal there in 45.35 s. In the following year she reached the U20 World Championships in Bydgoszcz in the 200-meter run to the semi-finals, where she was eliminated with 24.02 s and won the silver medal in the relay in 44.05 s. At the U23 European Championships in 2017 she made it over 100 meters to the semifinals and was eliminated there with 11.62 s, while she won the silver medal behind Spain in 44.06 s with the relay. The following year she won the U23 Mediterranean Championships in Jesolo in 23.70 s over 200 meters and in 44.39 s with the relay. At the IAAF World Relays 2019 in Yokohama , she won the 4-by-200-meter relay with 1: 32.16 minutes and did not finish in the 4-by-100-meter relay. Then she won the silver medal over 100 meters behind Pole Ewa Swoboda at the U23 European Championships in Gävle in 11.40 s and took part in the relay at the World Championships in Doha in October , but was disqualified there in the preliminary run .

In 2020 Leduc became French indoor champion in the 60-meter run.
