The Harderbahn (HB) is a funicular in the Bernese Oberland in Switzerland and leads from Interlaken to the Harder Kulm . The railway was opened in 1908.

The route begins in Interlaken, near the Interlaken Ost train station , at 567  m above sea level. M. What is unusual for the Harderbahn is that the route is not straight, as is usual for funicular railways, but almost semicircular on the mountain. With a maximum gradient of 64%, it overcomes a height difference of 755 m to 1322  m above sea level with a track length of 1447 m . M. located mountain station.

The journey takes 8 minutes, during which the train crosses a tunnel.

The Harderbahn only runs in summer. While the valley station is in the municipality of Interlaken, the mountain station is in the area of ​​the city of Unterseen , making it the only train station in Unterseen.
