The Harnish Creek is a 5 km long glacier stream in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It flows from an unnamed glacier east of the Crescent Glacier in a northerly direction to the eastern part of Lake Fryxell in the Taylor Valley .

The river is named after the American hydrologist Richard A. Harnish, who was involved in field research on the Fryxell Lake system for the United States Geological Survey between 1988 and 1989 and between 1990 and 1991.
