Hartmann Wunderer

Hartmann Wunderer (* 1950 ; † July 21, 2016 ) was a German history teacher .

From 1969, Wunderer studied German, history and social studies at the University of Würzburg and obtained his doctorate in 1978 at the University of Kassel with an examination of cultural and mass organizations in the labor movement for Dr. phil. He studied the subject of Protestant religion and in 1984 went to the Hessian school service. Most recently he was senior teacher and taught at the Elly-Heuss-Schule, the Wilhelm-Leuschner-Schule and the Gymnasium am Mosbacher Berg in Wiesbaden. He also worked as a textbook author and historian. His main research interests were gender history , historical demography and modern social history . He was also active in science journalism, wrote numerous book and magazine articles and was a co-author of numerous educational and didactic works. He was a co-founder of the Wiesbaden History Workshop.
