Hartmut Blankenstein

Hartmut Blankenstein (born December 22, 1941 in Silesia ) is a German diplomat .

Life

After graduating from high school, Blankenstein studied law in Cologne and Tübingen at the Odenkirchen grammar school in Mönchengladbach . In Cologne he became a member of the Macaria country team in the CC . In 1971 he started his service in the Foreign Office . From 2002 to 2006 Blankenstein was ambassador to Oman . In 2007 he acted as a special ambassador for police development at the German Embassy in Kabul .
