Haruka Fukushima ( Japanese フ ク シ マ ハ ル カ , Fukushima Haruka ; born April 12, 19xx in Okayama Prefecture , Japan ) is a Japanese manga artist .

Life

In 1999, Haruka Fukushima won the young talent award of the manga magazine Nakayoshi with the short story Sakuranbo ☆ Kiss . This then appeared in a special edition of Nakayoshi and became its first publication. Then she created other works for Nakayoshi . Since 2001 she has not concentrated on short stories anymore, but on series and has achieved success.

In her works, which are designed as shōjo manga especially for girls in childhood and adolescence, the everyday life of young people is often disrupted by an unusual or impossible situation. From 2001 to 2002 Fukushima drew the four-book series Witch Hazel for Natsumi about a girl who uses magical nuts to adopt an adult body, but who remains a child inside. In Small Beast is a youth in the foreground, her boyfriend often turns into a girl. Cherry Juice , on the other hand, on which the author worked for Nakayoshi from 2004 to 2006 , describes the love triangle between a high school girl, her crush and her stepbrother. From 2008 to 2009 she drew the four-book series AAA .
