Hasbro Studios
Hasbro Studios LLC ( Allspark since 2019 ) is an American production and sales company based in Burbank , California . It is a wholly owned subsidiary of toy manufacturer Hasbro . This company is best known for shows and movies such as My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and Transformers: Prime TV series, as well as My Little Pony: Equestria GirlsFilm series. Originally a television production division, Hasbro Studios produces and distributes formats on television and multiple media platforms. Allspark Pictures is Hasbro Studios' live-action film and television production label, while Allspark Animation is its animation label. Cake Mix Studio, on the other hand, is the producer of commercials and short content from Rhode Island.

In the early 1980s, Hasbro decided to start creating animated series based on their familiar toys. To do this, they commissioned Sunbow Productions, who had already produced commercials for them. It began production of series such as GI Joe and The Transformers , which were syndicated by the Hasbro subsidiary Claster Television. In May 2008, Hasbro reacquired the rights to the animated series from Sunbow Productions so that Hasbro could create programs in-house as Hasbro Studios. In addition, a film development unit within Hasbro Studios has been created with Hasbro Films or Hasbro Film Group departments that are responsible for developing films for Hasbro.
