Location of Hasebeck in North Rhine-Westphalia

Hasebeck is a small village in the Vossheide district of the city of Lemgo in the Lippe district in North Rhine-Westphalia . Until 1921, Hasebeck was an independent municipality in what was then the Free State of Lippe .

Geography and history

Since the mid-19th century the village Hase Beck in Lippe consisted Administration Office Brake arising from the same peasantry had emerged. The village Hasebeck, parts of the villages Maßbruch and Vossheide and the residential areas Mühlenberg and Stumpenhagen belonged to it. On October 1, 1921 Hare Beck was with the neighboring communities Kluckhof and Lütte the new municipality Voßheide together. Vossheide, in turn, was incorporated into the city of Lemgo on January 1, 1969.
