Hassan Al-Thawadi
Hassan Abdullah Al-Thawadi (* 1978 ) is a Qatari manager and sports official.
Career
Al-Thawadi graduated from the University of Sheffield with a law degree . He worked for Qatar Petroleum . In 2006 he moved to the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) and Qatar Holding as general advisor , which coordinate the diversification of the country's economic activities.
He was the managing director of Qatar's successful bid for the 2022 World Cup . In March 2011 he was appointed Secretary General of the Qatar 2022 Supreme Committee , the organizing committee of the World Cup.
