Qatar Holding
The Qatar Holding LLC (QH) is the investment division of the state fund Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) of the Emirate of Qatar and is responsible for strategic and direct investments to be and with the vision of a world-class investment firm also a preferred partner for investors from other Shareholders. The declared goal is a return of 17 percent per year - which was achieved in 2012. Qatar Holding's investments are generally long-term.
The founder of the fund in 2006 was Hamad Bin Jasim Al Thani . From 2003 onwards, he had built up the QIA - and its subsidiary QH - as the last large sovereign wealth fund in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and was Foreign Minister and Prime Minister.

The chairman of the supervisory board is Hamad ibn Jasim ibn Jabir Al Thani , and the chairman of the board has been Mansoor bin Ebrahim Al Mahmoud, who replaced Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Saud Al Thani , since the end of 2018 . He had been Chairman of the Board of QIA since 2014 and moved to the government as a minister. He is a member of the ruling family around Thani and replaced the non-family manager Al-Sayed, who only managed the fund for a little over a year.
