Hassan Roudbarian

Hassan Roudbarian (born July 6, 1978 in Qazvin ) is an Iranian football goalkeeper .

Roudbarian had his breakthrough in Iranian football in the 2003/04 season, in which he ousted former national goalkeeper Nima Nakisa at his club Pas Tehran from number one position. Pas Tehran became Iranian champions that year.

He then became a candidate for the Iranian national soccer team . However, it was not until March 1, 2006 that he was allowed to stand between the posts there too. After that he was allowed to compete as number two in goal in Iran's World Cup line-up for the 2006 World Cup in Germany. There, however, the number one Ebrahim Mirzapour played all three World Cup games in Iran. So far, Roudbarian has made five appearances in the national jersey.
