Hassan Zandbaf

Hassan Zandbaf (born in Tehran ) is an Iranian composer, author and lecturer at Tehran University . He was a graduate of the Richard Strauss Conservatory in Munich in 1978. After his career as a musician and composer, he published a dozen literary works focusing on the history of music and its social and sociological influences. His books are part of the standard course of study at Iranian music academies. He is the brother of the Iranian director, editor and producer Hossein Zandbaf.
