Hasta Mañana ( Spanish "See you tomorrow") is a pop song by the Swedish pop group ABBA , which was released in 1974 on their second studio album Waterloo .
history
Hasta Mañana was recorded on December 18, 1973 at the Metronom Studio in Stockholm. The working title was initially Who's Gonna Love You . It was composed by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus , the lyrics were mostly provided by Stig Anderson . The lead vocals were sung by Agnetha Fältskog .
In 1974 the piece stood next to Waterloo for the group's contribution to the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest . Ultimately, it was decided in favor of Waterloo , with which ABBA won the competition.
In some countries the piece was released as a single; it was number 9 in New Zealand and number 1 in the charts in Sweden . In 1980 a Spanish version of the song was created.
In the chorus of the song, lines from the song We'll meet again are used.
