Haste (epigraphy)

A Haste in the means Epigraphik in the proper sense a shank , thereby a straight vertical line as part of a letter. In a broader sense, the term is used for (fragmentarily preserved) parts of letters that run vertically or at an angle. In palaeography , the term is used for vertical lines.
