A warrior is a European sword of the 16th century.

During the historical sword is double-edged, as has warhorse called variant a single-edged blade with double-edged point. This form of the sword originated in Spain and Italy in the 16th century . There it was introduced as a weapon for mounted troops, who were less concerned with the art of fencing than with stabbing and cutting.

Colloquially today, an (old) warrior is a combative, assertive person.
