Main Street (Gartow)
The main street in Gartow in the Lüchow-Dannenberg district forms the town center.
The main road runs from northwest to southeast. In the northwest, the street turns into Springstraße at the corner of Hahnenberger Straße. At the southeast end is the church and Gartow castle. The main road is part of the B 493 for its entire length . The road in its current form was rebuilt after a fire on June 29, 1721. The ditch between houses 30 and 32 was already planned back then. The trench is cased today.

| Main road | St. George's Church | The church was built from 1723 to 1724. It is a baroque church with a mansard roof and a small tower. The organ is by Johann Matthias Hagelstein from Lüneburg. It was his only work. |
