The residential and commercial building at Hauptstrasse 5 is a two-story, yellow-plastered corner house in Hauptstrasse 5, corner of Brauhausstrasse in the town of Merkendorf in the Franconian Lake District ( Middle Franconia ). It is a listed building.

The building was built in the 18th century. After several bakeries and, most recently, a kebab shop had to give up their business, the shop now houses an insurance company.
