The Hauron Peak , a 1,350 m high mountain on the Danco Coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises 5 km southeast of Mount Banck .
The mountain is first shown on an Argentine map from 1952. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1960 after the French photography pioneer Louis Ducos du Hauron (1837-1920), who in 1869 had developed the basic principles for color photography .
