House Bolthausen 4

The house Bolthausen , even under good Bolthausen mentioned, is an under monument protection standing Manor (also court house ) in Wuppertal District Vohwinkel (street Bolthausen 4 ).

The simple two-story half - timbered house in what is now the Westring residential area dates from the 17th century. On July 6, 1987 the building, threatened by decay, was placed under monument protection. At that time, the city was looking for a potential buyer who was willing to preserve it. The building was restored in the early 1990s.

In the early modern times, Bolthausen was part of the Oberste Honschaft Haan in the Mettmann office of the Duchy of Berg . Today the Wuppertal location in which the building is located is also known as Bolthausen .
