The Brauss house is a half-timbered house on the market square in Mosbach in the Neckar-Odenwald district in northern Baden-Württemberg .

history

The building is part of the historical building stock around the Mosbach market square. In the 19th century it was the shop of master watchmaker Baunach, later his son-in-law Ludwig Brauss ran a haberdashery, white and woolen goods shop there.

description

The Brauss house is a two-storey half-timbered building with slightly cantilevered half-timbered storeys on a solidly bricked ground floor, facing the market square. The Badgasse beginning to the right of the house is widened like a square in this area, so that the Stadler parent house, which is located diagonally behind the Haus Brauss, also has a gable side that is visible from the market square.
