The Pustekrey house is a listed secular building at Alte Beckumer Straße 112 in Ahlen in the Warendorf district ( North Rhine-Westphalia ).

History and architecture

The mansion of Tudor stands on a square Gräfteninsel . It was built from 1614 to 1616. Originally it was part of a larger facility, the construction of which the builder Eberhard von Bischoping went bankrupt in 1624. The house is one of the few noble residences in the Münsterland preserved in half-timbered construction with brick lining. The interior was divided into three equally sized rooms by two transverse walls. In the middle is the spacious entrance area, next to it the side, multi-storey areas. The house was modernized, renovated and plastered for the first time in 1732 and then in 1830 after it became farm property. On the outside there are parts of a pompous fireplace with the alliance coat of arms of Bischoping and Kerkerinck . The house is in a very bad condition.

At the beginning of March 2017, a large part of the front facade of the house collapsed.
