Schmidt House
The Schmidt house is located in Bremen , Schwachhausen district, Bürgerpark district, Arnold-Böcklin-Straße 14. The house was built in 1951 according to plans by Julius Schulte-Frohlinde . It has been a listed building in Bremen since 1992 .
history
The single-storey, rectangular, plastered house with the gable roof and the three characteristic gables was built in 1951 for the businessman Adolf Fr. Schmid.
Born in Bremen; important architect Schulte-Frohlinde shaped the post-war development of building in Bremen until 1952. Some of his works in Bremen are from him. a. the designs for Café Jacobs ( Obernstrasse 20, 1950–2018) and Waller Church (1952/56).
Today (2018) the house is used for apartments.
