House Tillery
The house Tillery is located in Bremen , district Burglesum , the district of St. Magnus, on the high banks of 35 / Raschenkamsweg. The house was built around 1870. It is since 2010 as part of the Memorial group Knoops Park under Bremer listed .
history
The one- to two-storey brick-clad house with a half-hipped roof was built in an L-shape for the head gardener Tillery as a living and gardening house around 1870 in the era of historicism . The doors and windows with the muntin division in the shape of diamonds are striking . With the gatehouses Auf dem Hohen Ufer No. 10 and 32, it belongs to the oldest inventory of Knoops Landgut Mühlenthal. House Kränholm is located nearby .
During the conversion to a café in 2011, it was recognized that parts of the apparently well-preserved building were so dilapidated that all of the outer walls had to be torn down and reconstructed.
Today (2018) the house is used as an art café in conjunction with the Kränholm restaurant and the barn as an event room and a neighboring sculpture garden. The Haus Kränholm Foundation manages the property.
