Nils Aschenbeck

Nils Aschenbeck (born March 13, 1965 in Hamburg ) is a German journalist , book author and publisher .

Life

After graduating from high school in Delmenhorst in 1984 , Aschenbeck studied geography, art history and cultural studies at the Universities of Bochum , Bremen and Zurich . From 1987 he worked as a freelancer for Radio Bremen , Norddeutscher Rundfunk and Westdeutscher Rundfunk, and from 1990 for various newspapers and magazines, among others. a. for the feature pages of the Weser-Kurier , the Badische Zeitung and the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung as well as for the archithese in Zurich.

Since 1994 Aschenbeck has lectured at the University of Bremen and the University of Vechta on topics relating to the history of architecture. In 1997 he received his doctorate as Dr. phil. He is the nephew of the well-known writer Udo Aschenbeck .
