House Wiesche

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Haus Wiesche was a manor in the Harpen district of Bochum .

The estate, which no longer exists today, was not far from the Harpener Teiche on Werner Hellweg , about one kilometer west of Werne .

The documents show that the Lords of Harpen were the owners from 1342 to 1385 ( "Hugo von Harpen differently from the Wiesche" ). The von Grimberg family from Altenbochum , who also called themselves von Aldenbockum , took over the property. The beginning of the 17th century house Wiesche went to the family of four mouth on Castle Bladenhorst over.

The Lords of Wiesche were wood judges of the Harpener Mark and patrons of the St. Vinzentius Church in Harpen. In 1471 they donated the sacrament house on the north wall of the sanctuary. In Herne, Wiescherstraße is reminiscent of the manor.
