Homeowners Association
The Hauseigentümerverband (short: HEV ) is a Swiss association of homeowners and condominium owners and with over 320,000 members one of the largest clubs in Switzerland.
The association was founded in 1915 in Aarau as the Central Association of Swiss House and Landowners Associations . The oldest sub-association was the Birsfelden homeowners association founded in 1868 .
The association is committed to the promotion and maintenance of residential property and real estate in Switzerland at all levels. The members of the homeowners association can receive free legal advice by telephone on topics such as neighbor law, condominium ownership or tenancy law.
The association newspaper The Swiss House Owner has been published since 1919 . The newspaper appears 22 times a year (circulation: 317,418 copies, 606,000 readers) and provides information on residential property and property.
