The Havana Tropicals were an American ice hockey team from Miami , Florida . The team played in the Tropical Hockey League in the 1938/39 season .
history
The team was founded in 1938 as a franchise for the Tropical Hockey League , which was held for the first time . Like the other three players in the league, they played their home games at the Metropolitan Ice Palace in Miami, Florida, but represented the Cuban capital Havana . In their only season, the Tropicals finished fourth and last in the Tropical Hockey League. After the league was dissolved after only one year, the Tropicals also stopped playing.
