The Havfruen Peak is a distinctive and 365 m high mountain in the eastern part of Bristol Iceland in the archipelago of the South Sandwich Islands .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1971 after the Norwegian Bark Hafruen , which sank off the South Thul Islands on December 3, 1911 .
