Heart * Iz is the second EP by the South Korean - Japanese girl group IZ * ONE . The album was released on April 1, 2019.
background
On March 18, 2019, the group released the first teaser for Heart * Iz with the aim of releasing the album on April 1. On the following days, further individual teaser photos of the members as well as the redesigned website of the group were presented.
Some of IZ * ONE's members were involved in the creation of the album. Min-ju and Hitomi contributed to the text of Really Like You . Min-ju also translated the texts of the Japanese songs Neko ni Naritai and Gokigen Sayonara into Korean together with Chae-yeon . Lee Dae-whi (member of boy band AB6IX and former member of Wanna One ) co-produced the song Airplane .
Off the Record Entertainment announced on March 29, 2019 that more than 200,000 pre-orders for the album had already been received. In the first week after its release, Heart * Iz sold 132,109 copies; at this point a new record for girl groups in South Korea.

Overview of publications
The CD was released in two different versions (Violeta ver. And Sapphire ver.) With different covers. In addition, each box is equipped with a cover sleeve (randomly selected 1 of 13), a mini photo book (randomly 1 of 13), a fold-out card, two photo cards (randomly 2 of 24) and a 106-page booklet.
