Wanna One ( Korean 워너 원 ) was an eleven-member South Korean boy band founded by YMC Entertainment in 2017 . The group was put together in the Mnet TV show Produce 101 Season 2 and was planned as a temporary group from the start. Wanna One officially debuted on August 7, 2017 with the mini-album 1 × 1 = 1 (To Be One) . The members' contracts officially ended on December 31, 2018. However, until their farewell concert on January 27, 2019, the group had still attended official appointments and then finally dissolved.
