The Gmina Suchedniów is an urban and rural municipality in the powiat Skarżyski of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship in Poland . Its seat is the city of the same name with about 8500 inhabitants.
The municipality borders on the district town of Skarżysko-Kamienna in the north .

From 1975 to 1998 the municipality was part of the Kielce Voivodeship .
