Hebrew grammar (Gesenius)

The textbook Hebrew Grammar by Wilhelm Gesenius was first published in 1813 and is an academic standard work for the Hebrew language. It underwent numerous extensions and reprints until it was published in 1909 as the 28th edition in a new edition by Emil Kautzsch . The book has since been reprinted in the version by Emil Kautzsch. Based on the 28th edition, it was translated into English by Arthur Ernest Cowley in 1910 and appeared in 2 editions and several reprints under the title Gesenius' Hebrew Grammar . The 29th edition in a revision by Gotthelf Bergsträsser remained unfinished due to his accidental death, but the work was published in the state it had reached up to then in 1918 and 1929 and this version has also been reprinted several times since then.
