Hedgehoppers Anonymous were an English beat music band.

history

It was founded in 1963 under the name The Trendsetters and renamed The Hedgehoppers in 1964 . After the group was discovered in 1965 by music producer Jonathan King , they eventually adopted the name Hedgehoppers Anonymous . The band members were Mick Tinsley (vocals), John Stewart (guitar), Alan Laud (guitar), Ray Honeyball (bass) and Leslie Dash (drums).

With the single It's Good News Week produced by King , the group entered both the British charts (number 5) and the Billboard Hot 100 (number 48) in 1965 . Hedgehoppers Anonymous could not follow this success with their other publications. In January 1967 the band broke up. Mick Tinsley then started a solo career.
