Heide Schinowsky

Heide Schinowsky (born July 3, 1975 in Ludwigsfelde , Potsdam district , GDR ) is a German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen Brandenburg ) from Jänschwalde ( Spree-Neisse district ). Between 2014 and 2019 she was a member of the Brandenburg state parliament .

Life and work

Heide Schinowsky completed her Abitur in 1995 at the Georg-Friedrich-Händel-Gymnasium in Berlin. After graduating from high school, she studied Protestant theology and religious studies at the Humboldt University in Berlin from 1996 to 1999 . 1999 moved to the Alice Salomon University in Berlin to study . In 2003 she obtained the title of diploma social pedagogue / social worker there.

Heide Schinowsky is married and has one child.

Heide Schinowsky has been playing the flute since 1987 and is a member of the musicians' band Grüne Kapelle

Schinowsky has been Senior Advisor for Energy and Climate Protection at Deutsche Umwelthilfe since May 2020

Political career

Political party

Heide Schinowsky has been a member of BÜNDNIS 90 / DIE GRÜNEN since January 2000 .

From 2008 to 2014 she was a member of the state board of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen Brandenburg. From 1996 to 2002 Heide Schinowsky was a member of the state or national board of BUNDjugend. From 2013 to 2015 she was state chairwoman of BUND Berlin.

From 2007 to 2014 Schinowsky was a consultant for Climate / Energy & Building / Housing for the Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen parliamentary group in the Berlin House of Representatives, from 2003 to 2006 she was the office manager of the federal chairman of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen Reinhard Bütikofer and deputy press spokeswoman for the federal board of Bündnis 90 / The green.

In November 2014 Schinowsky ran in the state constituency of Cottbus I and was elected to the state parliament of Brandenburg via the state list of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen.

Since December 7, 2019 she has been a member of the state party council of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen Brandenburg .

From 2014 to 2019 Heide Schinowsky was a member of the Brandenburg state parliament and energy and economic policy spokeswoman for the Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen parliamentary group in the Brandenburg state parliament.

She was a member of the Economic and Energy Committee and the Petitions Committee. Schinowsky was also the contact person for matters relating to the Sorbs / Wends and a deputy member of the judges' selection committee and the committee for education, youth and sport.
