Heidelbach (family)
The Heidelbach family is an old Hessian patrician dynasty, which borrowed its name from a small town in Schwalmgrunde. This is about 6 km north of Alsfeld .
The family coat of arms is a shield split in silver and red, a white sloping bar in front, blue cloth scissors behind. A "piston cross" crest. In the local history museum of the city of Alsfeld, the coat of arms of the patrician family can be seen on the road through the short Hessen . In order to be able to use the coat of arms, one must be of the male line of Heinrich Heidelbach ( 1622 citizen of Alsfeld, 1648 councilor, then mayor ).
