Nikolaus Heidelbach (born December 4, 1955 in Lahnstein / Rhein) is a German picture book illustrator and author.

Nikolaus Heidelbach is the son of the painter Karl Heidelbach (1923–1993). He studied German, art history and theater studies in Cologne and Berlin and now lives as a freelance artist in Cologne.
