The former antimony mine of Goesdorf is located about one kilometer west of Goesdorf in the Lohhecken . The pit was first mentioned in 1354 and was in operation from 1743 to 1938. Work has been going on to excavate the drainage tunnel since 1998.

A geological discovery and orientation trail is offered under the title "On the trail of the Antimony". For the seventh time, the Minne Festival was celebrated in front of the entrance to the mine , for which a bus shuttle service was set up from the Goebelsmühle train station to Goesdorf.
