Christoph Gottwald (born October 11, 1954 in Cologne ) is a German novelist and screenwriter .

Life

Christoph Gottwald studied German , sociology and philosophy at the University of Cologne . During his studies he worked as a taxi driver , at which time he staged the play Hephaestus or the Birth of the Demigods in 1980 at the Cologne studio stage . In the same year a volume of poetry was published with the title Versteinerungen - Poems from a large city with drawings by Nikolaus Heidelbach .

In 1984 he published his first detective novel with the title Tödlicher Klüngel in Emons Verlag . The publishing house started its Cologne crime series with this work .

Christoph Gottwald has been working as a freelance journalist for radio and television, writer and screenwriter since 1984 . He writes screenplays primarily for television films and series productions. Among other things, as a co-author for the Tom Gerhardt film Voll normaaal . BADDOGINAPARK.COM is his first directorial work in 2012. Gottwald lives and works in Cologne and has three children.
