Heidrun Dräger b. Raddatz (born November 24, 1958 in Hagenow ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

Life and education

Heidrun Dräger attended the Polytechnic Oberschule in Neu-Gülze from 1965 to 1975 and did an apprenticeship as a data processor from 1975 to 1977. From 1979 to 1983, she continued her education in organization and data processing as a distance learning course and graduated as an engineering economist with a degree in business administration. Since 1978 she has been working as a company organizer at VEB Elbewerft Boizenburg .

Heidrun Dräger is married and a Protestant.

politics

After the fall of the Wall , she joined the SDP in December 1989 . Since 1991 she has been the SPD district manager for Schwerin and Ludwigslust and the chairwoman of the local SPD association in Boizenburg. In the local elections in 1994 she was elected to the Ludwigslust district council.

She was the equal opportunities officer of the Ludwigslust district, which existed until 2011, and is mayor of the city of Boizenburg / Elbe .

Heidrun Dräger was a member of the last People's Chamber of the GDR from March 18, 1990 to October 3, 1990 (10th electoral term) and from October 3, 1990 to December 2, 1990 a member of the German Bundestag (11th electoral term) .
