Heike Jehnichen

Heike Jehnichen (born August 10, 1954 in Eisenach ) is a German politician ( PDS ). From 1994 to 1998 she was a member of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt .

Education and life

After graduating from high school, Heike Jehnichen studied journalism and political science at the Karl Marx University in Leipzig . After an internship, she was an editor at the Norddeutsche Zeitung Schwerin (LDPD). She finished her studies with a de-registration in the diploma phase because of a wish to leave the country to Latin America. After taking language tests at the University of Leipzig, she worked as a language mediator and supervisor for Cuban workers at the Leipzig Gear Factory and the Böhlen Chemical Combine. Later she worked as a research assistant at the Lenin Memorial in Leipzig. She completed a distance learning course in political science / sociology at Leipzig University. She was a research assistant for the PDS parliamentary group.

Heike Jehnichen is non-denominational, married and has one child.

politics

Heike Jehnichen had been a member of the LDPD since 1974 and joined the SED-PDS in 1989 . She is a member of the AG Cuba Sí of the PDS and a member of the spokesman's council of the AG Seniors at the PDS. In the state elections in Saxony-Anhalt in 1994 , she was elected to the state parliament via the state list. In the state parliament she was a member of the Committee on Labor, Health and Social Affairs and the Committee on Culture and Media.
