Heike Knispel

Heike Knispel (* 1963 in Meerbusch ) is a German radio presenter .

After graduating from high school, Heike Knispel completed an apprenticeship as a tailor. During this time she was already working as a freelancer for the Westdeutsche Zeitung . She became an editor for a local weekly paper and started getting involved in local radio. In the early 1990s, she switched to WDR as a reporter and presenter . There she also worked as a writer for “ Local Time ” and “ Current Hour ”. In 1995 she was part of the founding team of the new station Eins Live , where she then worked as a presenter for five years. Between 2000 and June 12, 2016, she could be heard on WDR 2 , where she presented the programs “WDR 2 am Sonntag” (9 am–2pm) and “WDR 2” (2–7pm, between Rhine and Weser ).

Heike Knispel has been on WDR 4 since July 2016 , mostly in the morning on the program "Mein Morgen" (6-10 am).
